Liquid Brain Trust

San Francisco's
Monthly Happy Hour
for Interaction Design
Professionals

What?

A regular monthly happy hour for folks working in the digital/web/your-preferred-buzzword industry. If you're someone whose job is (or was) somehow related to web or software design, then we're talking to you.

When?

Usually the first Thurs of every month, 6pm (or whenever you can get there). However, as the holiday season approaches, we all have busy social calendars and multiple priorities to juggle. As such, Liquid Brain Trust will be taking its traditional holiday break for the months of Oct through February.

I hear the groans of disappointment echoing across the city at this very moment, but fear not! Absence makes the heart grow fonder, and we'll be back, ready to party, on March 4th of 2010. Put it on your calendar now!

Why?

There are tons of professional organizations for folks in the interaction design biz, so we felt it was time we had a purely social event where you can hang out with people who get/dig the digital culture, people who understand you and what you do. Thus, Liquid Brain Trust is born!

Plus, we've all experienced how difficult it can be to keep in touch with the good friends you've enjoyed partying with at happy hours as you move from one gig to the next. That's another excellent reason for Liquid Brain Trust. Tell all those folks about LBT, and make it your monthly excuse to hang out and catch up on all the latest office gossip you've been missing.

Who is Behind Liquid Brain Trust?

A small group of folks who are determined to keep our workplaces fun and friendly, no matter how crazy the deadlines may be. Our fearless leader (aka: Julie, the Cruise Director) is Guy Burns. You can email him at guy at liquidbraintrust dot com if you have any further questions or wish to volunteer your time/effort to Liquid Brain Trust. :)
